Tusby municipality's education services are announcing a position for a class teacher at Tusby Träsk Swedish School. The position is currently from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027. We are looking for someone who prioritizes the student, is flexible, and passionate about pedagogical development. Tusby Träsk Swedish School is a new primary school with approximately 50 students. The school is located in a new building that opened in August 2024. In the same building, there is also a Finnish-speaking school and a daycare with Swedish- and Finnish-speaking groups. We work in three combined classes. We emphasize community, safety, and shared responsibility. In a small school, everyone participates and works together. For fixed-term employment, applicants who lack formal qualifications may also be considered. Copies of diplomas proving qualifications will be checked during the interview. The position requires proficiency in Swedish at native speaker level, and applications must be submitted in Swedish. Knowledge of Finnish is considered an asset as the task involves collaboration with Finnish-speaking units. Salary and other employment conditions are determined according to UKTA and based on the assessment of competence requirements in Tusby municipality. The base salary for a qualified class teacher is €3,045.81 plus a Tusby supplement of €131.63. A probation period of six (6) months applies.
