We are seeking a part-time Mandarin Chinese language teacher (native language instruction) for Riihimäki City Education Services for the period 21 September 2026 to 5 June 2027. Riihimäki Education Services are looking for a Mandarin native-language teacher who would teach Mandarin to Riihimäki children who speak it as their mother tongue. We value energetic, proactive and professional approach to work. Teaching will take place at Pohjolanrinne School during the 2026-27 academic year. Working hours at start: 2 biweekly hours. Salary is determined by the Collective Agreement for the sector; the job-specific hourly wage is 22.55–32.26 EUR. We require the following from a mother-tongue Mandarin teacher: a Master’s degree; at least 60 ECTS (or 35 study weeks) of pedagogical studies for teachers; sufficient subject-matter mastery and knowledge of the culture of the language area. An entry into a fixed-term municipal position requires a criminal record extract as specified by the Act on Background Checks (504/2002). The application deadline is 16 September 2026 at 12:00.
