Supportive housing provides professional support, guidance, and advice to clients in their own homes and outside of their homes. The goal is to support clients in becoming more independent and living safely. The work is based on collaborative activities. As a supervisor of supportive housing, you will support and guide clients in daily matters such as housing, errands, household tasks, scheduling, engaging in hobbies, mobility, and social relationships. Medication management for clients is part of your duties. Clients live in the Tampere area, and client visits are conducted using public transportation. The employer provides a Nyssekort. Work is primarily conducted on weekdays between 8 am and 6 pm, and planning your own work allows you to influence your working hours. You can utilize your hobbies and personality in your work. What skills and experience are required for the role? You have a suitable minimum qualification in social and health care, registered in the Professional Register maintained by the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health. You have completed a hygiene passport and LOVe medication online test. If necessary, you can complete LOVe online medication tests at the start of employment. You already have experience working with people with developmental disabilities. You possess strong IT skills. You know how to use alternative communication methods and are familiar with issues related to client self-determination. You are prepared for independent work: you have the ability to plan and evaluate your work and make independent decisions. Excellent communication skills, flexibility, adaptability, good stress tolerance, and readiness to face challenging situations.
