Join HAMK's strategic communications team as a Communications Planner! Would you like to build impactful communication at a university where teamwork and innovation are valued? We are seeking a Communications Planner for a permanent position in HAMK's strategic communications. In strategic communications, we lead and develop HAMK's communication and marketing efforts. We are responsible for HAMK's brand and its visual and content presentation. At the same time, we support other HAMK staff in planning, executing, and engaging target groups through communication and marketing. HAMK staff are known for their excellence. What does the job involve? As a Communications Planner, you will play a key role in implementing HAMK's strategic communication initiatives. Your work will be diverse, combining planning, execution, and development. Your responsibilities will include: - Participating in the planning and implementation of societal impact communication - Developing communication related to corporate cooperation - Coordinating alumni communication - Participating in the execution and coordination of marketing campaigns Your work will include tasks such as communication planning and coordination, content creation, event organization, website updates, and other communication duties. Success in this role requires the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to promote HAMK's brand across various communication channels and target groups. What do we expect from you? We are looking for a communication professional who works independently but functions smoothly as part of a team. You have long-term planning skills and can react quickly to changing situations. We hope you have: - A relevant higher education degree - Experience in multi-channel communication and project management - Ability to plan and execute impactful communication for different audiences - Interest in societal impact through communication - Understanding of communicating with youth and reaching them through digital channels - Good technical skills (e.g., digital publishing platforms, content management, communication and marketing tools, social media channels) - Fluent Finnish and English language skills Additionally, we value: - A proactive approach to communication - Collaboration skills and existing networks - Interest in higher education and its societal role Why HAMK?
