Job Description
Aalto University is seeking a doctoral researcher for the Finnish Design Push initiative to study industry engagement in design education, especially in small- and medium-sized technology companies. The role involves developing doctoral research on how companies acquire design capabilities and how design education supports students' careers in industry. The position includes participation in research, teaching, and project activities, with a focus on advancing the candidate's doctoral studies over four years. The ideal candidate has a master's degree in design, business, education, or related fields, proficiency in English, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. The position is fixed-term for two years, starting no later than September 2026.
