Refrigeration Technician (apprenticeship) - Are Oy - Lahti, Finland

Do you have a basic or professional qualification in electrical engineering and are looking for new challenges? We are currently seeking an enthusiastic electrical professional to train as a refrigeration technician through an apprenticeship in our property services. The employment is full-time and permanent, with start date to be agreed with the applicant. The work location is Lahti. Our customer sites are primarily located in Päijät-Häme, Kanta-Häme, and Kymenlaakso regions. The customer focus is mainly on refrigeration in retail. You will study for a professional qualification as a refrigeration technician while working in a permanent position. Your tasks as a refrigeration technician include installation, repair, and maintenance of refrigeration systems, as well as new equipment installations at various customer sites. During work placement periods, you will work as a refrigeration technician under the supervision of a workplace instructor mainly in Lahti, Kotka, or Vantaa, with theoretical studies in Kouvola. The role suits a person willing and able to travel regularly within the specified regions and with flexible working hours. The actual workday is scheduled on weekdays from 7:15 to 15:30. Our property services handle, among other things, refrigeration for retail, shopping centers, hotels, and office buildings, including technical maintenance and repairs. Our responsibility is to ensure the technical functionality and energy efficiency of our customer properties, as well as providing comfortable conditions for end-users. We are looking for a candidate who: - Has a basic or professional qualification in electrical engineering - Holds a B driving license - Is ready to travel - Has fluent spoken and written Finnish - Possesses valid safety, electrical safety, and first aid (EA1) certificates You have good interpersonal skills and can keep your composure. You are accustomed to working independently and planning, organizing, and managing your activities. Customer service orientation is a natural part of your approach.
