Join us in creating your life story. We are currently seeking a nurse assistant for a part-time fixed-term position at Validia's rehabilitation department in Helsinki. We are looking for a nurse assistant for a part-time (60-80%) fixed-term employment. Completed medication licenses and previous work experience, for example in home care or hospital wards, are considered an advantage. We hope you can start work by August at the latest, and the employment is expected to last until May 2, 2027. The work of a nurse assistant at the rehabilitation center is diverse, and you will be part of interesting rehabilitation pathways and rewarding moments of success. The work is guided by the client's rehabilitation and care plan. We perform nursing work using a case manager model, allowing you to participate in multidisciplinary meetings and learn about the client's story. As a nurse assistant, you support clients with disabilities in their rehabilitation and return to as much independence as possible. You also support clients through significant life changes caused by disabilities and help them process related emotions. Our focus in nursing is on basic care and guiding care procedures. Requirements from you: Suitable education in social and health care, Registration as a licensed healthcare professional in JulkiTerhikki, Vaccination protection according to Infectious Diseases Act §48 and tuberculosis screening according to §55, Criminal record certificate as required by social and health care supervision law, Proficiency in spoken and written Finnish and Swedish, Hygiene passport, First aid training at EA1 level. Preferred qualities: Attitude of teamwork and ability to work independently and with others, Experience with Apotti or Mediatri patient information systems.
