Lecturer in mechanical engineering at SEAMK Seinäjoki with partial remote work and a fixed-term contract.
The lecturer will teach mechanical engineering courses, supervise students, participate in research and development projects, and collaborate in national and international networks. The position is fixed-term for 1 October 2026 to 30 June 2027. Responsibilities include planning, delivering, evaluating and developing teaching; supervising students; participating in R&D and innovation projects; and national/international networking. Requirements: a master’s degree in mechanical engineering (e.g., DI, engineer (YAMK)); extensive industry experience in mechanical engineering; strong communication and collaboration skills; fluency in Finnish and English with the ability to teach in English as needed. Desirable: knowledge of strength calculation fundamentals, knowledge of machine elements, their sizing, and pedagogical qualification.
