Coordinator for Developing Finnish as a Second Language Teaching - Mäntsälän kunta - Remote - Global

The Mäntsälä Education Services are seeking a project coordinator for a fixed-term position from September 1, 2026, to May 31, 2027, to develop S2 teaching. The role involves creating structures for preparatory education, defining language-based transition criteria, assessment practices, responsibilities, and parental roles, in collaboration with the steering group, school staff, and families. The coordinator will also develop the language support teacher’s role within the S2 and S1 instruction, requiring qualifications in mother tongue and literature or language teaching, experience with multilingual students, and strong ICT skills. The position offers an independent, meaningful role with support from a skilled team and opportunities for professional development. The work is primarily based at Mäntsälä municipal hall, with travel across schools. The salary is 3640.80 euros/month, with possible experience-based supplements.
