Occupational Therapist for Tikkurila Mood Disorder Clinic - HUS diagnostiikkakeskus - Vantaa, Finland

We are seeking an occupational therapist for a permanent position at the Tikkurila Mood Disorder Clinic. The work begins on 24 August 2026 or as agreed. HUS Psychiatry operates with approximately 2,400 professionals across various fields. We are responsible for outpatient psychiatric specialized care in the HUS region, as well as complex psychiatric examinations and rehabilitation. The Tikkurila Mood Disorder Clinic is part of the mood disorders and general psychiatry line. Working at the Tikkurila Mood Disorder Clinic offers a challenging and interesting role for an occupational therapist. The duties include functional capacity assessments, which explore the examinee's resources and mental functioning, as well as their performance in daily activities. In functional situations, cognitive, psychological, social, and motor skills are observed, and support measures are evaluated to best support functional performance and daily life. The occupational therapist is also responsible for individual occupational therapy sessions and leading group therapy activities. The occupational therapist works as part of a multidisciplinary team, and network work is an essential part of the role. HUS is a teaching hospital, and your work will include supervising occupational therapy students during their internships. The work is daytime work during weekdays, and part of it can be done remotely if desired. The clinic is located at Vernissakatu 3, 01300 Vantaa. The same building also hosts other HUS Psychiatry clinics and the HUS laboratory. Your immediate supervisor is the head nurse of the Tikkurila Mood Disorder Clinic. Your work is also strongly supported by the line's responsible occupational therapist. We offer thorough orientation for the role. We expect you to be proactive, able to work independently, and possess good communication skills.
