We are looking for energetic and customer-oriented guides for our client in Rovaniemi for the upcoming winter season to create unforgettable experiences in the magical Lapland. As a guide, you will lead customers in various winter activities and safaris, such as husky and reindeer rides, northern lights hunting, and other Arctic nature experiences. Your tasks include: Guiding customers in outdoor activities, Providing clear safety instructions and ensuring compliance, Presenting local nature, wildlife, and culture in an engaging and experiential manner, Participating in the preparation, maintenance, and servicing of equipment, Ensuring a top-quality customer experience throughout the service. To succeed in this role: You have previous experience as a guide, You possess excellent customer service skills and a proactive, independent work attitude, You communicate fluently in Finnish and English; additional languages are a plus, You enjoy interacting with people and can create an atmosphere through storytelling, You have a driver’s license and experience driving in winter conditions. Experience in guiding in northern environments is an advantage, as it demonstrates familiarity with winter conditions, proper equipment, and safe Arctic operations. Employment periods are from November 2026 to March 2027. There are both full-season and shorter, approximately one-month contracts available. Working hours are flexible to meet different needs, with options including zero-hour contracts and 90 or 120-hour work periods over three weeks.
