Community Supervisor, Kilonpuisto School - Espoon kaupunki - Espoo, Finland

The duties of a community supervisor include working with student groups, implementing measures to strengthen the well-being of the school community, as well as meeting and guiding individual students. Examples of tasks include promoting student participation, service guidance, planning and supervising recess activities, and conducting guidance and motivation discussions to support students' school attendance. Group activities that support students' emotional and social skills as well as group dynamics are planned and guided together with teachers. The supervisor works closely with the school's teaching staff, student welfare services, and a multidisciplinary network. The position is permanent starting from 1.8.2026. Qualifications include a lower university degree, such as social pedagogue or community pedagogue. The candidate must have strong professional skills in engaging with primary school-aged students, their growth, development, and guidance practices, as well as in group and individual work. Good cooperation and interaction skills, initiative, excellent guiding skills, and networking ability are required. The applicant must present a criminal record extract. Knowledge of family and social work or youth work is appreciated. Experience in project or development work related to student well-being is an advantage.
