Job Description
PEURAKOTI OY consists of four professional family homes: Perhekoti Peura, Kuninkaantörmän perhekoti, Haltian perhekoti, and perhekoti Hovi. In the family home, we provide children with care and well-being; a sense of security, continuity, and everyday safety. The care concept is summarized in four elements: understanding, connection, care, and boundaries. PEURAKOTI Oy is seeking FAMILY HOME PARENTS for a professional family home located in Espoo. At least one must have AMK-level education suitable for the task according to the Family Care Act and sufficient experience in child welfare. Preference is given to applicants where both have suitable education and experience in child welfare. Family home parenting is especially suitable for couples whose own children are adults or becoming adults. The work starts in late autumn 2026 after thorough orientation. The couple lives in a quality family home with up to seven long-term placed children and is supported by trained staff working in two shifts and substitute parents during days off and holidays. The salary is good, with regular days off, annual leave, regular supervision, and the support of the entire Peurakoti community. And most importantly – the children are gems!
