Internship: Chemical/Polymer Engineering - Avery Dennison - Remote - Global

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our R&D Graphics Solutions team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced industrial environment, applying academic knowledge to real-world challenges in one or more of the following areas: polymer chemistry, process optimization, material characterization. You will work alongside experienced professionals, contributing directly to our ongoing projects and learning valuable skills. This internship is scheduled to start on 01.10.2026 for a duration of 6-9 months. The role requires a commitment of 5 days per week. This is a fully on-site role based primarily at our Alphen office (70%), with the remaining 30% of your time spent at our European HQ. Key Responsibilities include assisting with planning, execution, and monitoring of technical projects, conducting research and data analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams, contributing to product development, and participating in team meetings. Qualifications include current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Chemistry, or a related field, and proficiency in Google Workspace. Skills needed include independence, teamwork, organization, and analytical problem-solving. We offer a monthly allowance of €550, travel coverage, training programs, and a collaborative international environment. The internship requires English language application and enrollment at a Dutch university for the entire duration.
