Higher Education Intern - Helsingin kaupunki - Helsinki, Finland

We are looking for 2 higher education interns for the Education and Training sector, Laatu ja vaikuttavuus unit. The interns will participate in a significant international OECD research project examining the socio-emotional skills of children and youth. Tasks include liaising with participating schools, practical support for data collection, classifying open responses in student surveys, and other research-supporting tasks. The open responses are classified according to predefined categories, involving collaborative coding supported by the project manager. Work is mainly on-site at Kalastama, which has modern and functional facilities. Applicants should be enrolled in relevant higher education studies (e.g., education, social sciences, statistics, information technology), interested in research and evaluation, meticulous, and systematic. Experience with research data processing and proficiency in Excel are valued, along with good communication skills and good command of English. The second intern should have good understanding of Swedish, as the research involves Swedish-speaking schools. Why work with us? The salary for a higher education intern is 1,880.37 €/month, plus a possible experience allowance up to 8% (KVTES). Apply by 29.7.26 before 16:00. The qualification requirement is currently studying for a relevant higher university degree (master’s or YAMK).
