Business Developer - IF Insurances - Remote - Global

Are you interested in practical development work? Are you analytical and systematic, and able to see tasks through to completion? We are now looking for a Business Developer to strengthen the Claims Center. In this role, you will implement development ideas and create tangible business benefits with various stakeholders. As a Business Developer at Claims Center, you will be responsible for end-to-end project execution—from idea generation to implementation and results monitoring. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to drive initiatives forward practically. Your tasks include identifying development opportunities through data and business understanding, building business cases, assessing impacts, leading and coordinating cross-functional projects, and ensuring benefits are realized. The Claims Center team consists of about 250 professionals managing customer claims, with a dedicated development team working closely with various departments and stakeholders. We work practically and collaboratively, providing responsibility and support. You are curious, proactive, independent, and enjoy working with reports and data to identify improvement areas. You have at least 3 years of experience leading development projects or initiatives, strong project management skills, experience with IT development projects, and the ability to turn data analysis into concrete actions. You understand different systems and processes, can learn quickly, and recognize AI opportunities to create value-driven solutions. Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English are required. A relevant university degree is necessary. Previous insurance experience is not required but understanding of a large-volume industry is a plus.
