A helper is a person who provides everyday assistance, companionship, and/or support in household cleaning for a designated client, such as an elderly person. The helper's tasks may include supporting the client with various daily chores, such as outdoor activities, shopping trips, taking out the trash, or simply enjoying coffee and conversation. We are also looking for cleaners who can work as helpers, with tasks including professional home cleaning and window washing. Over time, helpers and clients often become friends through their work. Helpers can be anyone over 18, from students to retirees. The most important qualities are a proactive attitude and a genuine desire to help. What does a cleaner-helper do? A cleaner-helper supports our clients with professional home cleaning. Each client always has their own helper. The work is meaningful, as helpers also get to know the client. Hemby provides high-quality cleaning supplies for our helpers, including microfiber cloths and cleaning agents. During home visits, we use the client's vacuum cleaner and mop to tidy the floors. What does the helper role require? A desire to help. No special skills are needed; just a willingness to spend time with those in need and make their daily lives better and easier through your actions. The work can be tailored to your situation, and working hours are very flexible. We require experience in cleaning from our cleaner-helpers. What is the best part of being a helper? As a helper, you will receive: - Your own designated client, whom you assist with daily chores and keep company. - Flexible working hours that fit well around studies or other part-time work. Typical work is 1-2 times a week for a few hours. - Competitive hourly pay: €12.89-€15.74 + additional benefits and holiday pay according to the collective agreement. - Good opportunities for advancement: you can progress to pro-helper or guru-helper roles and receive a salary increase based on experience and positive client feedback.
