Qualifications: Qualification as a teacher of history and social studies for basic education. Teacher qualifications are determined according to the decree no 986/98 on the qualifications of education personnel. According to section 9 of the decree, teachers providing basic education must have excellent oral and written skills in Finnish. The role requires readiness for team teaching, excellent interaction skills, a positive solution-oriented attitude, and good classroom management skills. Applicants must present a criminal record extract as specified in the Criminal Records Act section 6.2. Experience in teaching history and social studies at the basic education level and the ability and willingness to participate in the comprehensive development of the school are considered advantages. It is also an advantage to have the ability and readiness to guide the school's participation and democracy work, act as a supervising teacher for the student council, and organize other club-based activities for students.
