Job Description
We are seeking a Lead Mechanical & Piping Engineer for our office in Porsgrunn at Herøya. This role involves responsibility for entire piping and mechanical projects, including proposals, studies, and execution. The candidate must be skilled in 3D modeling for steel and pipe design in both large and small projects, within Greenfield and Brownfield facilities. The team consists of about 50 engineers in the Process & Plant Design department, working across multiple locations. The projects span various industries, notably chemicals, paper, biorefineries, CCS/CCU, and hydrogen. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, extensive experience in equipment and piping system design, and proficiency with Autodesk tools like AutoCAD, Plant 3D, and Inventor.
