Job Description
StaffPoint is seeking cooks for Lapland Hotels SnowVillage for the winter season 2026-2027. The job includes both à la carte and buffet cooking tasks. The work begins on 23 November 2026 and is expected to continue until approximately 4 April 2027. Full-time hours are 112.5 hours per 3 weeks. The employment contract is between the employee and StaffPoint. Please note that the Lapland Hotels chain is a non-smoking workplace. We expect from you - Professional qualification as a cook and/or work experience in the field - Creativity and a positive attitude, reflected in your way of working - Ability to work independently in a busy environment - Hygiene passport and valid health statement for food workers - Proficiency in English We offer you - Interesting and varied work in a cheerful, comfortable, and active work environment - A close-knit team that many return to season after season - Employee benefits across three sectors: Lapland Hotels, Lapland Safaris, and Lapland Ski Resorts - Accommodation arranged by the employer - Salary negotiable based on experience, but at least according to Marava Collective Agreement + applicable supplements Accommodation is located about 15 km from the workplace, so having a car or driving license is an advantage. Lapland Hotels SnowVillage combines the magical worlds of snow and ice. Every year in November, a unique ice complex covering about 2 hectares is built in Lainio, featuring ice sculptures, an ice restaurant, and an ice bar. Reception and restaurant areas are inside warm wooden buildings. The SnowVillage attracts approximately 80,000 visitors annually, with themes changing each year. Its location near Levi and Ylläs ensures an active winter season. Distance from Levi is about 45 km, from Äkäslompolo 30 km, and from Ylläsjärvi 15 km.
