In this role, you will join a construction site in Raisio, where foundation work, earthmoving, and trenching are part of the daily activities. We are seeking an excavator operator for a long-term project in the Turku area, specifically at a site in Raisio. The work is carried out at a stable Finnish company focusing on foundation groundwork, earthmoving, trenching, and ground preparation. This role emphasizes precise machine control, careful work, and smooth progress according to plans. Your workdays will revolve around practical machine contracting. You will be responsible for operating the excavator within your work area and ensuring that the site progresses safely, efficiently, and according to plans. Your tasks include, for example: Excavator work related to foundation groundwork, Earthmoving and ground preparation according to site needs, Trenching according to drawings and levels, Excavation work related to drainage and pipe lines, Working with technical drawings, level measurements, and pipe and laser levels, Collaborating smoothly with other site personnel to keep work progressing on schedule. This role is suitable if you enjoy concrete infrastructure and earthworks and have practical experience operating an excavator on a construction site. Initiative, teamwork skills, and thoroughness are directly visible in your work and contribute to the smooth operation of the site. We hope you have practical experience as an excavator operator on a construction site. You do not need to know everything perfectly, but you should be able to independently manage the work and have a basic understanding of construction site operations. We require: Practical experience operating an excavator in earthworks for 1-2 years, Excellent Finnish language skills.
