Would you like to work in engine manufacturing? We are looking for motivated and eager-to-learn mechanical assemblers for Wärtsilä's Vaasa facilities. The work involves mechanical installation of ship and power plant engines using modern methods in a tidy work environment. You will enjoy diverse and challenging installation tasks that provide opportunities to develop your skills within a professional team. Applicants should have a relevant vocational qualification and previous experience in installation tasks. Proficiency in reading technical drawings is important for performing the work. Additionally, we expect readiness for shift work. As a candidate, you understand the importance of your role within the team, and safety and quality are integral to your work approach. We also require a motivated and proactive attitude from applicants. The working language in production is Finnish, and knowledge of English is considered an advantage. The employment contract will be made with Barona Teollisuus Oy and initially is temporary. Selected candidates will undergo a security clearance (Security Clearance Act 726/2014) and a health check, which includes a drug test. Passing these checks is a prerequisite for employment.
