As HR Mergers & Acquisitions Manager, you play a pivotal role in ABB’s strategic portfolio evolution. Working closely with Business HR, HR functions, Business M&A, and cross‑functional teams, you drive successful people outcomes across M&A activities in all ABB Business Areas — from pre‑NBIO through post‑close integration. As part of ABB’s global HR M&A team, you contribute to HR M&A strategy, standards and tools; guide both small and large, complex transactions, and ensure ABB navigates talent, culture, cost, and organizational challenges with excellence and speed. Key responsibilities include partnering with business HR to steer the HR workstream across global M&A transactions, advising on process, stakeholder management, and strategic decisions, supporting workplan creation, and ensuring compliance with policies and laws. The role involves overseeing HR specialty areas, building HR M&A capabilities, and continuously improving processes. The ideal candidate is an HR generalist with strong, strategic, and hands-on M&A experience, solid understanding of HR processes, project management skills, and fluency in English. Location is flexible in Europe and the US Eastern time zone, with a hybrid or remote work model.
