Quantity Surveyor - Gold Group - Birmingham

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering a high-profile, major infrastructure project in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a large, complex civil engineering scheme, working within an experienced and supportive commercial team for one of the UK's leading main contractors. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will quickly become an integral part of the commercial management team and responsible for a portfolio of subcontract packages, taking them from procurement to final accounts. You'll work closely with senior commercial staff while gaining exposure to all aspects of project delivery. Responsibilities include managing project costs, supporting cost reports, administering contracts, managing variations, supporting procurement, preparing valuations, identifying risks, liaising with teams, contributing to value engineering, and providing commercial support. Requirements include experience in infrastructure or civil engineering, familiarity with NEC contracts, strong numerical skills, good communication, and ability to commute to Birmingham. Salary & package: £40,000-£60,000, company car, 25-26 days leave, pension, healthcare, salary reviews, professional fees. The role is hybrid with on-site work expected at least 3 days/week.
