VP, Communications - Genius Sports - Remote - Global

We are looking for a strategic, experienced VP of Communications to lead our communications strategy at Genius Sports. This role involves developing and executing communication programs that enhance our reputation, support business goals, and shape our corporate narrative across media, industry, customer, partner, employee, and market channels. The candidate should be a strong storyteller, trusted advisor, and capable of managing media relations, executive messaging, issues management, and internal communications. Responsibilities include creating communication plans aligned with company objectives, managing media relations, developing executive messaging, supporting product and business-line communication, and handling sensitive issues with discipline. The role requires close collaboration with leadership, marketing, legal, and external agencies. The ideal candidate has significant experience in corporate communications, media relations, and strategic messaging, preferably within B2B technology, sports, media, or related sectors. The position offers a salary of $280,000–$320,000, with hybrid working models and occasional travel. The role aims to strengthen the company's narrative, increase media and thought leadership opportunities, and improve communication processes.
