Job Description
In this role, you will work hands-on in the laboratory to develop and optimize lateral flow immunoassays. You will translate assay needs into clear experimental plans, generate and document evidence-based assay performance, and support verification activities by defining test approaches, acceptance criteria, and performance summaries. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure assay development deliverables are clear, complete, and ready for next-stage work. Main responsibilities include laboratory development and optimization of lateral flow assays, defining assay objectives, executing experiments, analyzing data, producing development reports, and supporting verification. Requirements include a degree in biochemistry, biotechnology, biomedical/chemical engineering, or related fields, strong laboratory techniques, theoretical background in biochemistry/biotechnology, proven experimental design skills, basic biomedical data analysis skills, excellent documentation skills in English, and hands-on immunoassay experience. Fluency in English is required; Finnish is a plus. The position is suitable for self-reliant, organized, and curious individuals with structured troubleshooting skills. The employer offers a full-time, permanent position with benefits, a salary range of 3600–4400 €, and opportunities for growth.
