The navigation industry is transitioning towards S-100 readiness; Wärtsilä seeks a Senior Sales Manager, Fleet Optimisation to sell and grow the nautical offering to merchant marine clients. Main products include Navi-Sailor, Navi-Planner, E-Navigation solutions (Charts, Publications, overlays), and shoreside tracking within Fleet Optimisation. You will drive go-to-market strategies, collaborate with distributors, and build strong customer relationships with ship owners and operators worldwide. The role involves ~30–40% travel for customer engagements. Preferred locations: Helsinki, Finland; Copenhagen, Denmark; Hamburg, Germany; Schiedam, Netherlands; Singapore. To be successful you should have relevant education (BSc/MSc preferred), maritime navigation knowledge, strong commercial acumen, distributor-channel experience, and proven B2B sales in maritime navigation or similar.
