Senior IT Architect - BDO Oy - Remote - Global

BDO is expanding rapidly, and we are seeking an experienced IT infrastructure specialist for the role of Senior IT Architect. You will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and developing the company's IT infrastructure to meet current and future needs. The position is permanent and based in Helsinki, Tampere, or Turku, with flexible hybrid work arrangements. You will work within the Digital, IT & Analytics team, which manages the IT environment, digital solutions, and development projects. The team consists of 12 experts, each with their own expertise, working under the IT director. Your main responsibilities include designing, maintaining, and continuously developing IT infrastructure architecture, evaluating and selecting AI and technology solutions based on strategic goals, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security of IT infrastructure, implementing projects and changes, and designing and optimizing cloud environments such as Azure. You will have the opportunity to develop and build the growing company's IT infrastructure and utilize the latest technologies in an open culture that encourages experimentation and renewal. We expect you to have strong overall management and technical skills, aiming to influence the company's technological solutions long-term. You are goal-oriented, development-focused, and have excellent communication and collaboration skills. To succeed, you should have extensive experience in designing and managing IT infrastructure in a Microsoft environment and executing IT projects, a good understanding of Microsoft cloud architecture, and experience with DevOps and IaC tools. Knowledge of security, identity management, device management, and network infrastructure is also beneficial. Fluency in Finnish and English, both spoken and written, is required.
