Job Description
We are looking for an experienced professional chef for our client in a high-quality restaurant in the heart of Tampere for the summer season. The work begins as soon as a suitable candidate is found. The position is temporary until the end of August 2026. Continuation of employment in the fall is possible if the work proceeds smoothly. The role offers a diverse and responsible position in an ambitious kitchen that values good work ethic, professionalism, and high-quality ingredients. The restaurant's food philosophy is based on French cuisine with a modern approach. Menus change several times a year, and dishes boldly utilize flavors and ingredients from various cuisines around the world. The restaurant serves customers from lunch to dinner, and all dishes are served à la carte on plates. The work environment is professional but relaxed, and teamwork is emphasized with a positive attitude. Daily tasks vary between lunch, mise en place, and dinner shifts. You will have the opportunity to work at different stations in the kitchen and participate in daily kitchen maintenance tasks. We hope you have several years of experience in a dinner restaurant, basic technical skills, ability to take responsibility for your shift, smooth working in busy conditions, interest in food preparation, and Finnish as working language. We especially value a chef who is proficient in various kitchen stations and understands the overall operation of a professional kitchen. We offer 90 hours / 3 weeks. Salary based on skills and experience. Contract until the end of August. Possibility to continue employment in the fall. Work in a high-quality and respected restaurant.
