Job Description
Rinnekodit is a workplace supporting the overall well-being of its employees. We build a respectful and equal work culture where everyone has the opportunity to develop. We are currently looking for a caregiver for a permanent position at Rinnekodit Multatielle. Our unit in Tuusula is a home for developmentally disabled clients, located conveniently with good transport links. The building is divided into three group homes, each with six clients. Our goal is to support our clients' independence and participation in their daily lives and to provide high-quality service according to our promise. Our clients' functional capacity varies from speechless guidance to more active support, and each is a unique person. We want to meet our clients as they are, each just right as themselves. As a caregiver, you play a key role in recognizing individual needs and ensuring quality care. You work professionally, respecting the client's right to self-determination and treating them with respect. Your work includes basic care, medication management, and rehabilitative approaches. You also support clients physically in daily activities. We offer good orientation and various training to ensure smooth work. We expect you to have a practical nurse qualification and registration with the Suosikki register, or be in the final stages of studies, or have a social and health care professional card (Kanta authentication card), or be prepared to obtain one during the trial period. You should be ready to demonstrate medication management skills by obtaining a medication permit within four months of starting employment and regularly during employment. You must be willing to work in three shifts. Basic Finnish skills are required for documentation and client interaction. You should genuinely be interested in meeting clients individually and bringing joy to their lives. Rinnekodit is a smoke-free and drug-free workplace, and employment includes a health check with vaccination verification according to infectious disease law. We will check a criminal record extract from the person selected for the position, in accordance with legislation, and it must not be older than six months. Our work community includes practical nurses, nurses, a responsible caregiver, a housekeeper, and a service unit manager as your supervisor. Our manager is committed to supporting your and the entire team’s development with a coaching approach—encouraging, giving feedback, and listening in times of concern. We promote an open work atmosphere and encourage discussion. We aim to share tasks fairly so everyone can enjoy their work. We are flexible to accommodate different life situations to make work and leisure easier. We follow principles of a safer space to ensure a respectful, safe, and pleasant work environment where everyone can be themselves. We offer a salary class G22, which is €2495.24–€2825.05 plus shift allowances according to the private social services sector collective agreement. We also provide a sports, culture, and well-being benefit, comprehensive occupational health care, and extensive accident insurance. You will have the opportunity to work on a 3+4 shift model (three workdays and four days off). You will have a dedicated mentor and a welcoming orientation. You can utilize your skills and strengths and participate in career development. The application deadline is June 7, 2026, but we may close recruitment earlier if the right person is found. The work begins immediately. We value diversity and encourage applicants from different backgrounds.
