Primary School Teacher, History and Social Studies, Hj. Nortamo's Elementary School - Rauman kaupunki - Rauma, Finland

We are seeking a primary school teacher for a permanent position starting August 1, 2026, to teach history and social studies to middle school students. Hj. Nortamo's Elementary School is looking for a teacher to support the learning and daily life of middle school students. We expect enthusiasm for working with young people and smooth collaboration with school staff. The primary school teacher's duties include: - Teaching history and social studies - Possibly teaching other primary school subjects - Working as part of a professional, encouraging, and community-oriented team - Developing teaching methods and practices together with colleagues. The initial placement is at Hj. Nortamo's Elementary School, which provides education for grades 7-9. The school is part of a vibrant campus that also includes a swimming hall, adult education center, music institute, sports hall, and youth center.
