We are looking for a skilled welder for a permanent position at a subcontracting machine shop located in Toijala. In this role, you will manufacture various machines and devices, as well as related steel structures. The primary welding method is MIG/MAG, with some TIG welding. The job also involves measuring and cutting materials. The materials are mainly black iron and stainless steel, but occasionally aluminum. The work starts immediately upon finding a suitable candidate, and full-time work (40 hours/week) is available. The work is day shifts, but readiness for two shifts is required. The employment contract is with Henkilöstöliiga on a permanent basis, and after the probation period, there is an opportunity to transfer to our client. Success in this role requires several years of recent experience in sheet metal welding. You should master MIG/MAG welding, and experience with TIG is an advantage. It is also important that you can read technical drawings fluently. Additionally, we expect initiative, the ability to work independently and in a team, and a very precise work attitude. Welding certifications and experience with sheet metal cutting machines are considered an advantage. We offer a permanent position in a well-established company. The salary will be agreed upon case-by-case based on experience and skills, and employment terms are based on the industrial sector collective agreement.
