Uimaopettaja - Haminan kaupunki - Hamina, Finland

We are looking for swimming instructor for a fixed-term employment with the City of Haminan education and training services from September 1, 2026, to April 30, 2027, or as agreed. The position includes approximately 190 teaching hours, scheduled during school days from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The duties include planning and delivering swimming lessons according to the curriculum for students in basic education and preparatory education, communicating with schools and guardians, and collaborating with the staff at the swimming hall. Lessons are held at the Haminan swimming hall. Other tasks can be handled flexibly according to your schedule. The qualification requirement is a valid swimming instructor qualification from the Finnish Swimming Teaching and Lifesaving Federation. We expect teamwork skills, good interaction skills, and a responsible attitude. Previous experience and working with children are advantageous. Terms and salary are according to KVTES.
