We are responsible for several nationally specialized studies as well as research and teaching at university hospitals. Diagnostic tests play a central role in confirming, ruling out, treating, and monitoring diseases and screening. About 3,300 laboratory and imaging experts work at HUS Diagnostic Center across more than 150 locations. We are looking for a sample collector and customer service-oriented practical nurse for a permanent position, as well as a part-time (65%) practical nurse for a parental leave cover from 10.8.2026 to 30.6.2027 at HUS Diagnostic Center, Jorvi Hospital Laboratory. The permanent position involves three-shift work, and the part-time work is morning-oriented (Mon-Sun). Your tasks include sample collection at care units and sampling points. Jorvi Hospital Laboratory serves the entire Jorvi Hospital and Espoo Hospital, so our clientele is diverse. Sample collection training and experience working in a hospital laboratory are desirable and considered an advantage. The job requires initiative, flexibility in changing work situations, good cooperation and interaction skills, teamwork skills, and resilience under pressure. A willingness to learn new things is an advantage. The role requires good spoken Finnish and satisfactory written Finnish skills, as well as satisfactory spoken Swedish skills. The task-specific salary is €2870.00/month (SOTE agreement), plus possible experience and other allowances. HUS Diagnostic Center uses performance-based pay, allowing you to increase your monthly earnings.
