Day Center Pähee is a low-threshold facility primarily aimed at substance users, open to all individuals seeking community. At the day center, clients can receive guidance and advice in various life situations, participate in group activities, and engage in other activities offered by the center. We are seeking a social counselor for a temporary position from July 6, 2026, to December 31, 2026. The work is client-oriented and confidential. It involves multidisciplinary collaboration within clients' networks and service systems. Key partners in day center work include social and health care professionals, city officials, and third-sector organizations. Qualifications include a licensed social worker in Finland (Social Welfare Professionals Act 817/2015, Section 8). We require excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, experience in social work, and the ability to work independently, within a team, and in multidisciplinary cooperation with the third sector. Good oral and written Finnish skills are also required.
