Job Description
We are looking for an experienced kitchen shift supervisor for the winter season in Muonio. As a kitchen shift supervisor, you are responsible for the smooth daily operation of the kitchen during your shift. You lead the team by example, ensure a high-quality customer experience, and make sure that the kitchen operations meet hygiene and quality standards. The work begins in November and continues until March-April 2027. Your tasks include leading the kitchen shift and organizing work, preparing à la carte dishes and quality control, guiding and training staff, handling raw materials and inventory management, following hygiene and self-monitoring practices, and collaborating with the dining hall and other staff. We expect previous experience in kitchen work and supervisory responsibilities, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, good organizational and problem-solving skills, fluent English skills, Finnish language skills are considered an advantage, a hygiene passport, a proactive and responsible work attitude, and own vehicle for commuting. We offer fixed-term employment for the winter season, full working hours, salary according to agreement, possibility of accommodation (about €300/month), and working in the beautiful Lapland scenery.
