We are seeking a nurse or nursing student to strengthen our dedicated and professional nursing team in Kirkkonummi home care during the summer holiday period. The summer jobs are scheduled from June to September, and your substitute position can last from 1 to 4 months depending on your preference or team needs. Kirkkonummi's home-based support services consist of home care and a local rehabilitation team. Home care is divided into five regional teams, which include nurses, practical nurses, and home helpers. Additionally, we provide night home care and organize work independently. In home care, you will work as a member of a multidisciplinary team, implementing a rehabilitative approach in customer work. The goal is to ensure a good everyday life for clients and support their ability to live at home. Client care follows an agreed care and service plan. The work environment is clients' own homes. Home care work is diverse and independent. Good communication skills, responsibility, and teamwork are emphasized. We use Lifecare patient information system and Lifecare operational management system. Besides your own team, support is provided by other home care teams, supervisors, therapists, and the home care doctor. The nurse acts as a healthcare expert within their team, responsible for the nursing services of the client service package. The work is responsible and varied team work. We value customer-orientedness. The nurse acts as a developer of team and community operations and quality of care, as well as a member of multidisciplinary networks. Home care nursing is a daytime job. It occasionally includes on-call shifts on weekends in the mornings. You can influence your own shifts. A driver’s license is required. You may use a manual transmission work vehicle. When starting, you will receive your own work phone and work clothes. We will start interviews during the application period.
