We are hiring open and proactive salespeople for fixed-term employment from June 1, 2026, to August 30, 2026 (average 10 and 15 hours/week). Our service concept includes personal customer attention, offering new experiences, and sales work in accordance with Finland's Best Customer Experience. As a salesperson at Suomalainen Kirjakauppa, your tasks include active sales work, maintaining the store appearance, and other daily store duties. Salary is based on the retail TES's difficulty level B: - €12.81/hour, €14.57/hour depending on experience - Evening bonus after 6 pm: €4.00 - Saturday bonus after 1 pm: €5.27/hour - Work on Sundays is paid double We primarily seek candidates with previous experience in store and cash register work, and we value an active, positive, and enthusiastic attitude towards sales work. You approach new tasks with an open mind and serve customers in the best possible way, even in busy situations. We expect you to serve our customers fluently in Finnish, and knowledge of English is an advantage. Work shifts are scheduled according to store opening hours, including weekdays and weekends. We use a flexible working hours system, so weekly hours may vary. Work in the store is done together with a team, and also independently when responsible for store operations.
