Jokilaaksojen koulutuskuntayhtymä is seeking a part-time teacher for teaching common modules such as mathematical subjects starting from August 3, 2026, for an indefinite period. Additionally, teaching includes, among other things, activities in digital environments. Priority will be given to permanent officials with formal qualifications who are subject to possible municipal consortium adjustment measures. Your work location is Nivala, but teaching may also take place at other locations within the municipal consortium. Qualifications for the position are determined according to the decree on the qualifications of education personnel 986/1998, section 14. In the absence of formally qualified applicants, also unqualified persons may be appointed for a fixed term. We require: - Higher university degree in the subjects to be taught - Teaching experience - Ability to engage with diverse learners - Good and positive interaction skills, as well as an encouraging and developmental work approach - Ability to collaborate - Computer skills - Driver's license and access to a car if necessary Salary and employment terms are governed by the municipal education personnel collective agreement. The working hours are part of the annual working hours, section C, for professional teachers. The selected candidate must provide, before accepting the position, an acceptable certificate of health status according to the municipal official law (304/2003) and a criminal record extract according to law 504/2002. The probation period is six months. Interviews will be held in week 31.
