Job Description
We are hiring two experienced traveling childcare workers to join our team starting August 3, 2026. Their initial workplace will be Keskustan Daycare. What you will do for us Our daycare has eight groups for children aged 1-6 years. As a traveling childcare worker, you will work across all groups and shifts. Your task is to act as a childcare worker as a member of the team currently on shift. Your work is varied, and you will interact with all adults and children in our unit. Our unit is located in an excellent transportation area, and our environment allows for activities such as library and forest trips. Qualifications are determined according to the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018), Chapter 6. Salary and other terms of employment are based on KVTES. A six-month probationary period applies. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract related to work with children, as required by the Act on Background Checks for Persons Working with Children (504/2002) and the Criminal Record Act (770/1993), Section 6, Subsection 2. For those working with preschool children, a tuberculosis screening will be conducted (Communicable Diseases Act § 55).
