Licensed Practical Nurse, Kaariranta, Huittinen - Satakunnan hyvinvointialue - Pori, Finland

We are hiring two licensed practical nurses for permanent positions at the 24-hour elderly care unit Kaariranta. Kaariranta has 47 resident places. Our operations are based on residents' own resources and individual, holistic care until the end of life. Our goal is to provide each resident with a life of their choosing and support daily functioning and social relationships. As a licensed practical nurse, you will be responsible for basic care and medication administration, and participate in providing stimulating and meaningful daily activities. Your duties also include preparing care and service plans together with residents and their relatives, as well as conducting RAI functional capacity assessments. The work is primarily three-shift work. We require: - A qualification as a licensed practical nurse or equivalent previous school-level qualification - Valid professional competence (Valvira registration) - Fluent spoken and written Finnish language skills - Vaccination protection according to the Infectious Diseases Act (Section 48) Experience working with the elderly is considered an advantage. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract in accordance with law (741/2023, Section 28). Terms of employment and salary are determined according to the SOTE agreement. The task-specific salary is €2652.70/month. There is no possibility for remote work in this position. We observe a 6-month trial period. Original work and qualification certificates will be checked with interviewees.
