Pukinmäki, Helsinki will see the opening of a new 74-place 24-hour residential care home for the elderly, Attendo Kuisma, in October. We are now looking for Nursing Assistants for a full-time, permanent employment contract in a multidisciplinary team, who have a desire to do diverse, high-quality work and be part of an important, functioning team from the start and create new practices in a new home. As a Nursing Assistant, your duties diversely cover laundry services, meal services, cleanliness, and assisting nursing tasks. What will you be doing? - Take care of the care home's laundry services - Be responsible for the implementation of the care home's meal services and food orders - Participate in assisting tasks in nursing care together with nurses, and participate in organizing residents' activities and outdoor excursions - Assist the Cleaner with home cleaning tasks if necessary The position is full-time and valid until further notice. The work is 2-shift work on weekdays and weekends, and the employment begins in October 2026. What do we require from you? - No degree is required for the nursing assistant/cleaner position, but work experience in similar tasks is considered an advantage - Vaccination protection as intended by Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act to protect customers and patients throughout the employment - Hygiene passport or readiness to complete it within three months of starting employment - Fluent oral and written Finnish language skills - Criminal record extract You are proactive, eager to learn new things, and flexible.
