Do you want to be part of starting new production and building the future expertise of Rautpohja? Valmet is looking for skilled welders and robot welders in Jyväskylä. Valmet is strengthening the production of the Rautpohja plant and is now looking for skilled professionals for permanent employment. With new products, we need more top experts in the welding field in our team to ensure high quality and a smooth start of production. We are now looking for a total of eight professionals for two different roles. Work starts as soon as possible according to the agreement. The positions are full-time and require a willingness to work in shifts. Job Description Manual Welder (4 positions) In the role of a manual welder, you are responsible for the manual welding of demanding industrial steel structures. The work requires precision, the ability to read drawings, and the ability to work independently in accordance with high quality requirements. Robot Welder / Operator (4 positions) In the role of a robot welder/operator, you are responsible for the programming, adjustment, monitoring, and use of the welding robot. You ensure that the automatic weld meets our strict quality requirements and perform manual finishing or corrections if necessary. Work is done in cooperation with production, quality, and other experts safely and following high quality standards. We expect from you Knowledge of the comprehensive quality requirements of the EN ISO 3834-2 standard Manual Welders: knowledge of MAG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) processes. Robot Welder / Operator: knowledge of mechanized submerged arc welding (SAW) Previous experience in demanding industrial stainless steel structures and parts welding, certified according to EN ISO 9606 and/or EN ISO 14732 standards Careful and responsible work approach and ability to follow strict quality and safety standards Good cooperation skills in teamwork.
