University Teacher, Population Ecology - Oulun yliopisto - Remote - Global

We are currently seeking a University Teacher for the Faculty of Science, Department of Ecology and Genetics, in a fixed-term position from August 17, 2026, to December 31, 2026. The duties include teaching two ecology courses: Animal Geography and Fundamentals of Population Ecology. The ideal candidate holds a higher university degree in ecology, has good teaching skills and experience, proficiency in Finnish, and fluent written and spoken English. The position is fixed-term starting August 17, 2026, at level 5 of the university’s salary system, with a possible performance-based supplement up to 50%, typically 3800–4000 EUR/month.
