Substitute for Responsible Organization Activities Specialist during Parental Leave - Suomen Parkinson-liitto ry - Turku, Finland

The Movement Disorders Association is seeking a responsible organization activities specialist as a substitute during parental leave in Turku, as part of the national organization team. The responsible organization activities specialist will coordinate the activities of the organization team and plan the association's organizational work in collaboration with the rest of the team. The role includes organizing events, supporting associations, training volunteers, engaging in rare and movement disorder activities, and other tasks supporting the team’s work. The position also involves managing and reporting on membership association grants (STEA), applying for and reporting on the association’s general grants (STEA), participating in advocacy and influence work, and communication tasks. Candidates are expected to have experience in organizational work and working with volunteers. Experience in applying for and reporting on grants is valued. Good IT skills and experience with various communication channels are required. We emphasize good interpersonal skills, an independent work approach, and an interest in impacting the lives of people with movement disorders. We offer a workplace where we work with great dedication for people. Salary and working conditions are in accordance with the social sector organizations' collective agreement. The employment is full-time and temporary during parental leave. The work includes evening and weekend work and travel. Partial remote work days are possible.
