Test Automation Engineer for the banking sector, Helsinki - Academic Work

About the role As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our client's payment systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites, contributing to a robust and efficient testing process. This role involves hands-on test automation, analysis of payment systems, and continuous improvement of testing processes to ensure high-quality software delivery. Understand payment systems and perform analysis for quality assurance. Apply QA related expertise and technology to enhance testing processes. Analyze, create, and innovate testing solutions. Collaborate with team members and influence testing strategies. We are looking for at least 1 year of prior work experience with test automation. Advanced knowledge of Python, Robot Framework and Jenkins. Good general testing knowledge to the level of ISTQB Foundation Level. Experience with test tools and test management tools. Fluent English skills both written and spoken. Excellent problem-solving skills. Experience and/or knowledge of payments or financial domain is a plus. Personal qualities include being social, responsible, a creative problem-solver, and intellectually curious. A credit check will be conducted.
