In southeastern home care, we focus on the future, and therefore we are now looking for several practical nurses for permanent positions. With new vacancies, we are strengthening our teams in Herttoniemi, Vuosaari, and Laajasalo. The southern home care offers a varied working environment in the most maritime areas of Helsinki. Herttoniemi, Laajasalo, and Vuosaari form a diverse entity combining city life, green residential areas, and maritime scenery. We are currently hiring practical nurses for permanent positions in the following teams: Herttoniemi 2 - working area Kulosaari and Herttoniemen ranta. Office located at Laivalahdenkatu 2, 00880 Helsinki. Laajasalo 1 - working area Koulutanhua, Laajasalo, Kruunuvuorenranta, and Jollas. Office located at Laivalahdenkatu 2, 00880 Helsinki. Laajasalo 2 - working area Roihuvuori, Tammisalo, and Laajasalo Yliskylä. Office located at Laivalahdenkatu 2, 00880 Helsinki. Vuosaari 1 - working area Vanha Vuosaari, Aurinkolahti, and Cecilia-palvelutalo surroundings. Office located at Meri-Rastilan kuja 1, 00980 Helsinki. The work involves supporting clients' functional capacity and enabling smooth everyday life in their own homes. It is independent and varied, with each day bringing different situations and encounters. The work requires initiative and decision-making skills, but you are not alone. Our teams offer an open and relaxed atmosphere and a professional, multidisciplinary group. Your support comes from your own team of practical nurses, nurses, head nurses, and supervisors. Tasks include supporting clients' functional capacity and rehabilitation, basic care and assistance in daily situations, medication and wound care, acting as a responsible nurse for your own clients, recording in the Apotti system, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and relatives, and moving to clients' homes by walking, cycling, car, or public transport. We expect you to be a licensed practical nurse, able to work morning and evening shifts (7 am - 9:30 pm), including weekends, work independently and responsibly in clients' homes, have good physical condition and problem-solving skills in demanding situations, have good communication skills and work well as part of a team, and be committed to home care and developing your skills long-term. For Herttoniemi and Laajasalo teams, driving skills with a manual transmission car are required; Vuosaari 1 team only requires automatic transmission driving skills. The eligibility requirement is a practical nurse qualification and registration with the Central Register of Professional Health Care Professionals maintained by the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health (Valvira). Good oral and written Finnish skills (at least level B2.1). Before the decision, the applicant must provide a health assessment and drug test certificate, and a tuberculosis clearance as required by law. The applicant must also have a valid LOP/LOVe LOP medication license, completed before starting work and at the latest by the end of the probation period. The selected person must provide a criminal record extract as required by law before starting the job. Experience in Helsinki home care, B-class driving license, and practical driving skills are considered an advantage.
