Job Description
The City of Ylivieska is seeking a temporary special class teacher for Kaisaniemi School for basic education from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027. The class to be taught is a JOPO class. The temporary appointment is due to the filling of an open position. Kaisaniemi School has a highly capable team of special education professionals. There are a total of seven special education teachers and two JOPO teachers at the school. Additionally, the school employs a school social worker and a school nurse. Our student welfare team consists of experienced professionals. Employment terms and salary are determined according to OVTES. Qualifications are based on the decree on the qualifications of education personnel (986/98). Employment terms and salary are in accordance with OVTES. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract as specified in section 6.2 of the Criminal Records Act before starting work. Applications are submitted electronically via Kuntarekry. Certificates proving qualifications must be attached to the application. A six (6) month probationary period applies. The application deadline is June 2, 2026, at 15:00.
