Job Description
A music teacher position is available at Puolankajärvi School starting August 1, 2026. The position also includes hours at Puolanka High School and Puolanka Adult Education Center. The role requires broad knowledge of music activities and guiding skills, for example, related to choir and bands. Responsibilities include overseeing music performances at school and adult education events and celebrations. Qualifications are determined according to the decree on the qualifications of education personnel (986/1998). Original certificates demonstrating qualifications must be presented during the interview if applicable. Salary is based on OVTES. The selected candidate must provide a satisfactory health certificate and a criminal record extract related to working with children, as required by law (504/2002) and the Criminal Records Act (770/1993), section 6, subsection 2.
