Night work with children and adolescents in East Helsinki - Viisi Vuodenaikaa Oy - Helsinki, Finland

We are looking for a responsible, empathetic, positive, and rehabilitative-minded practical nurse for our child client. The work takes place in the homes of our clients and focuses on caring for only one child at a time during the shift. The key aspects of the job are quality care and a stress-free environment. Our clients are diverse, and different skills and understanding are needed to support safe and high-quality care. We are now seeking evening, night, and weekend shift workers for our clients in East Helsinki. On weekdays, shifts start from Ruskeasuo and end in East Helsinki. Transportation during the shift is by the client’s taxi. Shifts are available 2-4 times a week. We hope you can commit to regular care for one or two clients, with at least one shift per week per client. The work may include various care procedures such as: - stoma change/emptying, - tube feeding to gastrostomy, - catheterization, - ventilation support, and - safe medication administration. In our locations, communication tools such as computers or picture cards may be used. Some locations require knowledge of neuropsychiatric features. In addition to care procedures and basic care, we ensure the child's development and growth, as well as a safe and meaningful environment, considering the family and their uniqueness. We will train you for the job with support from an experienced nurse. We support working in the client’s home and have built good cooperation within the team. Your work is supported by team leaders. We operate a 24/7 on-call service, which can be contacted if needed. Employees are central to our operations, and we invest in their well-being and retention.
